For some fun, I’m playing along today with the Reverse Confetti August Color Challenge.  I picked up my Quirky Cuties - Freida Fox set and had a little fun colouring, paper piecing and layering.  

Here she is all dressed up.  Colouring is with Copics, and I paired a few designer papers I had in my stash for the colours.  I’ve also added some embossed vellum under the layers to give it a touch of softness and texture.  

I used some bright yellows - but also a little bit of gold in the sequins.  And in this picture you can see that her face is popped up. 

She’s a sweetie!

I was in the mood to create something fun and springy with this cute set Freida Fox from Reverse Confetti.  I had so much fun guesting with them last month.  I decided to give Freida a silvery look rather than a traditional fox colouring, and then paired her with some pretty Webster’s Pages that have a spring/Easter theme.   She’s so cute isn’t she?  

Her cute dress and the heart are paper pieced, the rest Copic coloured with some flick strokes to give her the feel of fur.  The heart it popped up a bit to give it some dimension.  And there’s lots of ziggy zaggy sewing.

Reverse Confetti Hop!

Hello Reverse Confetti friends! Winter may be trying to hold on for dear life, but with the hopes of spring right around the corner, there’s a fresh new release from REVERSE CONFETTI! There are 6 new stamp sets and 5 new Confetti Cuts Dies (some of which coordinate perfectly with a few of the stamp sets, too). Today, we’re hoping to put a “spring in your step” with our new release Blog Hop! The Confetti Crew, Challenge Crew and a few of our friends have sprung into action with some fabulous projects to share this month using the newest RC products. Hop along with us and catch “spring fever”!

She’s such a cutie isn’t she?  I had to give her a be-speckled look with this fun funky glasses today.  She’s stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black with the glasses stamped in Gray Flannel.  Coloured up with Copics in Toner Grays, and a pretty paper pieced dress (Echo Park - Head over Heels).    

I thought her cute pin-tucked little dress would look great with some pleated paper along the bottom and I also added some fun fishtale flags, washi tape and enamel dots.  Perfectly adorable and perfectly spring!

Reverse Confetti Hop!

New Reverse Confetti Quirky Cutie!

Well, I’m just so excited today to be hopping along today with the Reverse Confetti Crew and showing off a brand new Quirky Cuties set!  Thanks Jen for the invite!  Let me introduce you to  Bebe Bunny, I think she is pretty adorable!

She’s all dressed up in her Sunday best ready for the party!  I actually made this card for our little niece who turned 5 on Monday.  She likes dresses and girly things and is always jumping around so the card was perfect for her.  

I’ve coloured BeBe up with Copics in warm greys and peach tones to match this fun paper from Teresa Collins - You are My Happy. I fussy cut her out and popped her up on the paper, and I’ve given it some extra touches like sewing, lace, enamel dots and some cute twine to pull it all together. 

Don’t you love her paper pieced purse?  I’d like one just like it!
