We have a gorgeous stamp set to unveil for you today from Power Poppy! It's called Heavenly Peace Dove, and in the dove and olive image you have lasting symbols of peace for the season. Truly breathtaking.
This was a delightful image to colour using both Copic Markers and Prismacolour Pencils. I loved giving the image's olives various stages of ripeness, because that’s so much fun to colour.
To showcase the elegance of the image, I chose a fancy Spellbinder’s Die to cut the image out, placing it on some patterned paper that I had already used a stencil and Nuvo Glimmer paste on. These little touches of sparkle add to the design, without being overpowering.
Two tiny pearls accent the top and bottom of the die.
To really make the whiteness of the dove pop, I used a purple prismacolor pencil to colour in the background. It’s an easy trick to make whites really stand out.
My Copics above, and I also used a purple Prismacolor pencil for the background.
Gorgeous isn’t it?

Christine, it's amazing to me how you even found the time to make all these utterly gorgeous cards, but you're so good with your coloring... you make it look easy. All your cards completely blow me away!
