You’re So Wonderful with Concord & 9th

Hi There!  I just love great colour combinations!  This month Concord & 9th showcased a new combination of Creamsicle, Grapefruit, Spiced Cider, Oceanside and Juniper.  I thought it was a fun one to play with.  I picked up my Artisan Petals Bundle of Turnaround Stamps and dies and did a little inking.

After I had stamped all the layers of colour, I created some texture by running the panel through Concord & 9th’s Basket Weave Card Front Die.  It creates the perfect accent.  I also stamped a few extra florals from the set and die cut them to use as accent.  The sentiment is cut 3 x and stacked together over an outline layer of vellum.

Lastly, it’s just a few enamel dots in coordinating colours to give some bling.  What do you think of this colour combo?

Hello Mushrooms with Concord & 9th

Hello There!  Today I have the most adorable little mushroom theme with new items from Concord & 9th.  This set is called the Toadstool Bundle, and it includes a turnaround stamp, as well as coordinating dies and sentiments.  I’m pretty pleased with a cute colour palette I chose of Concord& 9th inks - Poppy, Juniper, Tidepool and Cobblestone.  It feels fresh!

I started by stamping the background 4 times wiht the Turnaround stamps, then added the separate stamping of the Fly Agaric Mushroom and little flowers.  I popped them onto postage stamp die cuts (Waffle Flower).  The sentiment is from the die set, I just trimmed it to 1/2 of its normal size of words.

Accents are simple enamel dots scattered, and in the flower centers, and its altogether cuteness for an Autumn design.  Thanks for joining me!

Tropical Wishes with Concord & 9th

I always love a tropical theme!  When I made a bunch of cards for a friend she asked for a few masculine designs with the Best Wishes theme.  Where flowers can be more feminine, I think leaves can go both feminine or masculine.  So I pulled out this Turnabout stamp from Concord & 9th called  A Bit of Paradise.  And with the right colour palette it definitely leans more masculine.  The colours I used are Lemongrass, Spiced Cider, Cayenne and Avocado.

I also used the coordinating A Bit of Paradise dies to add some accent to the sentiment.  The grame is from the coordinating die, and the die cut sentiment uses the Everyday Expressions Die.

Now I think that covers all the retirement/best wishes cards I created for her.  It was a fun theme to work with which I don’t often create.  Thanks for joining me today!

A Tropical Happy Day with C & 9th

We’ve got hot temperatures and some humidity in my corner of the world, humidity is not as usual for us, so we’re feeling a bit like the tropics right now!  And I have a very tropical card created with new goodies from Concord & 9th.  This design uses A Bit of Paradise Bundle with its awesome turn around stamp and coordinating dies.  I chose colours of yellow, orange and teal for Simon Says Stamps June Challenge and I love how the combo turned out!

The sweet tropical leaf die cuts make great accents to the colourful background and I’ve added an embossed sentiment, as well as an Oceanside cardstock border from C&9 that gives the right amount of colouful framing.  A simple enamel heart accents the sentiment.

Ready for summer!  Thanks for joining me!
