Well our Quiet Christmas Collection is wrapping up today from Power Poppy with a showstopper. We bring you Joy to the World Bouquet as the stunning final act! It is that beautiful botanical piece that you’ve come to expect from Marcy’s artistic hand. This bouquet includes poinsettia, pomegranate, cranberries, pine, ivy, hellebore and ribbon bundled together so richly!
My colouring this time is with both Copic Markers and Prismacolor Pencils and I’ve utilized an almost primary palette of "red, blue and yellow" - just slightly adjusted to coral-red, purpley-blue and lime green. I think it makes the design feel really fresh.
After colouring up this beauty I trimmed out the image and placed it on layers of white that are die cut, embossed (with a argyle folder) to allow those vibrant colours to shine like a gallery wall. For added touches of sparkle I’ve added clear shimmery holeless sequins and a shimmery die cut Joy sentiment.
I think it is such an elegant image and design. The perfect card when you really want to make an impression and spend some lovely time colouring.
