TCP New Release: Super Plaid Dad

Popping in for Day Three of Sneaky Peek Week at The Cat’s Pajamas!   Today we’ve got a super sweet set that is so squishably adorable and it’s called Super!  It showcases some adorable bears in a theme that works so well to celebrate those special men - and kids in your life.  I often call our youngest son baby bear, even though he’s 16 1/2 and much bigger than I am.  Somehow he’ll always be my baby.   I loved how this stamp from the set celebrates a dad and son type relationship.  I coloured up the bears on XPress It Blending with Copics and then took a soft washcloth and dabbed them with Copic Blender Solution to give them an extra fuzzy feel.  I trimmed them out and placed them on a Going Round and Round circle which I created a background of clouds and grass with TCP’s Great Outdoors Stencil, blending in the colour with TCP’s Big Beautiful Blending Brush.  

Then to create that fun plaid background I took TCP’s Pattern Builder Stencil and created some custom plaid.  With a couple of wood veneer stars and a bit of neutral twine it’s complete!
