Hello!
For all of us who are feeling hidden and tucked into the spaces we call home these days, I have a warm and earthy design for you today from Power Poppy using two of Marcy’s beloved Mushroom sets, Miraculous Mushrooms Digital and the Wild Mushrooms Stamp Set. I printed the Fly Agaric mushroom trio large enough to be able to get some really good colouring in there and then used Copic Markers, finishing off some of the detailing in Prismacolor Pencils. They are the most fun to colour with their bright and cheery reds, yellows and oranges. I used some Kraft ink to distress the edges of the XPress It Blending cardstock to warm it up and enhance that earthy feel.
For the background I stamped a number of the images from the Wild Mushrooms set onto Kraft paper in Kraft ink and distressed the edges as well. I love when you can tie sets together like that and create your own background paper. I did add a touch of polka dotted red designer paper because it pairs so perfectly with the mushrooms. A wee wood veneer heart that I’ve dragged through ink accents the design.
