Autumn is such a beautiful season! The colours, and cozyness. I just wish it would last longer. That’s one of the big things I miss about living in the US, fall was more prolonged. But even still, my Canada turns out all her colours for the season (once we can get past the ridulously early snow that just fell 👎 - don’t worry though, it will be gone tomorrow). So, today’s sweet set from Power Poppy is a perfect way to make autumn last as long as you want it to! It’s called Fortunes of Fall, and it’s a rich celebration of beautiful arrangments that sing on the autumn breezes.
I chose to work with the sweet pumpkin stand first, with the pretty arrangment of pumpkins, pears, flowers and greenery. Dreamy to colour up in such a fun palette! I went with a lot of gold accents to really warm it up and add some glitzy. Colouring is done with Copics and then some prismacolours to add in detail. It’s so cozy I think I need a warm pumpkin spice latte!
I added some sponging to warm up the focal piece, used a gold Krylon pen to edge everything (almost like gold leaf edges) and added some gold accents in the ribbon and card candy, with a couple of die cut leaves to make it even more warm and seasonal.

You're knocking my socks off with this release, Christine! This image is my favorite yet, maybe because of the beautiful season it represents. I always feel fall is shortchanged by winter, even here in our more temperate region. Just look at these glorious colors!

Stunning! I love your color choices! I grew up in Pennsylvania, where fall is long and lovely. But now I live in San Diego...where there is nothing that approximates fall...and going to the pumpkin patch in October means battling high 90 degree heat! I miss the fall...so I surround myself with fall decor...and new fall stamps! hee hee

Wow and double-wow, Christine! This is gorgeous, and I agree about fall. Even though we LOVE South Florida and would never want to see cold again, I do miss the beauty of fall...a lot especially when I see images like this one.
