I cannot tell you how much I love this set today. I just SQUEELED when I saw it. As a mom of two ball hockey boys and a husband who plays ice hockey with the guys, it just tickles my fancy, and I know it will theirs too, especially as a Canadian! All the guys gave me thumbs up when they saw it.
Like serious cuteness right? I just HAD to make an NHL rink for the background of Bun Bun. I looked it up on the web and then used dies, circle punches and a black marker to create this rink.
My ice skating bunny is coloured with Copics and I added the red line, and ice line with a Copic Multiliner as if he’s either taking the face off or about to fall into the goalie scoring the winning goal!
You can see I even added “hockey tape” to the stick, my boys would say that hockey tape is crucial. Good taping is how you can do your “dangles” with the stick. I decided to leave it very un-embellished, to really show off the design.
Now don’t forget to book your calendar for the party! I’ll be there in my Cat’s Pajamas! :)
So head on over to the TCP Blog to see who else from the Cat Pack is hopping today and showing off this awesome hockey player!
