I created both a shaped card and a 3D Christmas box to show off for you today...
I love when gifts and cards coordinate, so I decided to do a fancy shaped card and a cute little Christmas Tree box.
I'll start with the card: I began with Flourishes' beautiful Christmas set Naturally Merry. Isn't that pinecone illustrated beautifully by Marcy? I cut out the Silhouette shape for the set in Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock, and then stamped the image in Memento Peanut Brittle Ink for the no-line look. Then I pulled out a few of my Copic Collections to colour the image up. Then I popped it up onto one of our Flourishes Perfectly Pierced Classic Window dies cut from Classic Ivory cardstock as well. The sentiment ink is Memento Olive Grove, which I also used on the background stamping on the Color Made Easy Evergreen layer. The shape of the card is a Spellbinder's Grand Labels 4 die with the bottom tip cut off. I thought it gave it a elegant Moroccan feel, especially with the window die in the middle.
A few finishing details, woodgrain embossing on the Classic Kraft layer, some Color Made Easy buttons, wooden buttons and twine to tie it all together.
Now for the box. I knew a tree design would work perfectly for this set so I used a Silhouette cut file Scalloped Tree Box. Cutting it out with our Flourishes Color Made Easy Evergreen card stock, stamping on the layers before assembling, adding some classy velvet ribbon and a small tag with our Tailor Made Classic Tags and the sentiment with our Tiny Flowers and Tags set.
And now for some wonderful shaped inspiration, our talented Design Team has pulled out all the stops to get your creativity jump-started:
