Old Fashioned Florals

Welcome to Day 1 of Flourishes Sneaks for February! We have some fun planned this week and can't wait for you to join in! Today's peek is one that mixes beautiful florals with one very classy custom die Flourishes released not too long ago. What do you get when you pair a beautiful paper pierced die with stunning florals? Gorgeous creations for sure!

Introducing...

OldFashionedFloralsGraphic

Designed to be used with our Perfectly Pierced Victorian Ovals, this set illustrated by Marcella Hawley adds an old fashioned charm. Fuschia, Four O'Clocks and Apple Blossoms adorn these oval centers with mix and match sentiments perfect for all occasions.

Some of you noticed I sneak peeked this set yesterday with a red hot giveaway you can check out here....

But today's version from me is all about the cool blues.

In my head I thought these might be a little bit like Bachelor's Buttons, so the deep vibrant blues look so great on them.  However, these are actually Four O'Clock flowers...and usually come in more warm shades (really unique ones too).  But today, you'll have to imagine they're Bachelor's Buttons with me, that's the beauty of stamping.

I stamped them onto Flourishes Classic White cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then cut out the shape first with our Perfectly Pierced Classic Frames Die to mat it, then popped that up on the beautiful Perfectly Pierced Victorian Ovals in our True Blue Color Made Easy Cardstock. I added a couple of different designer papers from my stash that took on the vibrant blues and greens, coloring up the flowers to match with copics.

The beautiful lace frames the top with some Kaiser Sparklets, and some seambinding accents the little sentiment - also from the Perfectly Pierced Victorian Ovals die set.  Isn't it just SO pretty?  I love how it matches the Perfectly Pierced dies too.  Really classy and so polished looking.

Here's the Copic's I used.

I love that you colored these blue. I'm more likely to color flowers with a color I am feeling than what they should actually look like.
