So, I thought I'd add a dose of spring here for you - and me :) It's the third card I made for the Flourishes Friday Focus yesterday on the FLLC Blog.
I stamped some of these amazing Gerber Daisies on Flourishes Classic White cardstock, and then colored them up with V04,V05, V06 and V09....with a little YG03/YG17 on the greenery. Then I added some beautiful Flower Soft in Sage to the center of the daisies for the dimension. It really adds to the daisies....to me it makes them feel like asters I have in my flower bed.
Then it's just an embossing folder and some gorgeous Zva pearls. It would be a good design for a wedding too wouldn't it?
And I know....my blog still feels naked without the sidebars...problem is, I can't remember where I got them (sigh), so I have to go hunting for the design. My friend Julie helped me so I may have to call on her again!
ETA YAY! I fixed it! No more nakedness!

Beautiful!! Your colouring is fabulous and what a neat idea for using flower soft for the centers!!
I just LOVE this card!!
This is one of my favourite Flourishes stamps and you`ve done marvels with it. Never gave Flowersoft a thought but might have to steal that idea. Fabulous card.

I love gerbers and you have coloured them fabulously! I have never ventured near those huge pearl accents because I think I am the one who would be covered in them and not the card LOL. Hang in there with the cold and snow. We are growing webbed feet in our neck of the woods and the moss in the back yard is flourishing - ugh!! Have a great weekend (((hugs)))
beautiful gerber daisies christine , beautiful color you have used.

I love how you stamped the pretty daisies on the side. I especially love the purple. :)
It has been warm the last couple weeks, and now we have rain and it is a good bit cooler. I am about to go put a pot of coffee on. Want a cup?

Christine, I saw these beautiful purple daisies on the Flourishes blog...love the flower soft centers and the bold brightness of your card combined with the soft sentiment!
We have had what seems like a long winter here also, but my husband was out doing some tree trimming this morning and informed me the crocuses are starting to emerge...so there is hope, yet!
