Seaside Life
and Beach Life!
Aren't they yummy? Here's a last card I made with Beach Life
I used my copics to color the palm trees and hammock and then ran a light layer of orange ink with my brayer over top, that way it looks like the trees are lit by the sunset. Then I gave the background layer some brayering treatment with some great yellows, golds, oranges and reds. I used some of the extra edges of the brayered piece as accent along the side too. And then popped the trees on top.
If you played in Flourishes By The Sea challenge, be sure to check the Flourishes Newletter Saturday at noon central time for an extra surprise! Trust me, you won't want to miss this!
I hope to stamp a little in the next week....right now as we speak my kitchen is completely torn up, we're renovating...and my office, my computer and my stamping table are all located in this area! It should be a crazy week!
Recipe: Stamps: Flourishes - Beach Life; Ink: Mememto Tuxedo Black, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Only Orange, Riding Hood Red; Paper: Crushed Curry, Basic Grey DSP, Flourishes Classic White Copic Paper; Accessories: Big Shot, Labels Sizzlits, Dimensionals, Copic Markers, Kaiser Pearls (black), Brayer, Bittersweet Ribbon (Flourishes).
