New Release - Beach Life

There's just nothing like the beach right? How fun it is to feel the warm sun, the sand beneath your toes, to see the ocean waves time after time rolling in. It always makes me feel so small, yet peaceful.
Lauren Pope has designed a wonderful new set to be released tonight called Beach Life. I love the beautiful images!
Here's one to show you... and if you come to the Release Party tonight (Friday) at Splitcoast (8 PM MTN time) I'll show you another!

I love this image of the sailboat out in the water. I colored it with copics and popped up a second layer of the cloud.

I was going for a very nautical feel, so I used this pretty paper from Prism as my base (Island Mist Dark), added some cream and red accents, and did some fancy wavy piercing to give the feel of the waves. I also wanted to keep that long horizontal feel to the design too.

Sail over to the rest of the Senior Design Team to see what they have created today with this pretty set.

Cindy Lawrence, Faith Hofrichter, Julie Koerber, Latisha Yoast, Laura Fredrickson, Leslie Miller, Stacy Morgan

To win this set today see the Flourishes Newsletter.

And join us tonight at 8 pm MTN at the SCS forum for the Release Party! Fun, games, conversation, the new releases and lots of chances to win!

And here is Julie and I on Tuesday night when I met her in person for the first time! She keeps all of us Flourishes girls together as our fearless Design Team leader. What a sweetheart she is, and it was so fun to spend some time with she and her beautiful family. They were wonderful hosts. You can tell I'm looking a little road weary in the picture and Julie's hair is blowing a little in the wind, but we had a great time! I feel blessed to know her!
