Whew! Home again....you might not have known it but we've been away the past 9 days visiting family and friends...travelling 3679 km (or 2281 miles) across the US Midwest! I even had the blessing of spending some time with my friend Julie along the way, what a treasure! (more on that tomorrow) :)
It's Day Two of fabulous Sneak Peeks from Flourishes. It's another amazing set created by Marcella that is stunningly illustrated.
Whenever we've gone to the beach, one of our fun pass-times is to wander along the sand and waters edge looking for shells. Doesn't everyone do that? We have many good memories from trips...and some shells taken home to remember them by.
So I tried to recreate that feeling of us walking along the beach edge with the water lapping up against us finding sand dollars.
Some of these sand dollars are stamped on Confetti Cream and the edges sponged. I also stamped one on cardstock vellum with white Stazon and gave it a bit of a curled around look. Some sponging on the beach and some curled waves with a little ribbon, twine and a Finishing Touches Ribbon slide complete it.
