Well, I'm pooped. I made 20 cards yesterday believe it or not (more on that tomorrow). But my Teacher's Gifts are done! Then I woke up in the night with a scratchy throat. YUCK. Getting a cold here. :(
So today's card is a quick one. I used today's Sketch from SCS and the new SU Razzle Dazzle set, and new InColors.
I stamped the main image twice, once in Crushed Curry, and then once using my NEW In Color markers coloring the image with both Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry, then I cut out the blooms carefully and added them on to the image, the main one popped up. Did you notice something about what I did? I *added * blossoms to the image. With stamping it twice I could add flowers to some stems leaving some Curry. It gives it a fuller feel I think.
Gave it a little shabby chic with the spiral punch and some simple ribbon. I really love this new Modern Label punch. A must have! The pretty DSP also adds to that whimsical, shabby feel too.
Thanks for stopping by today. I'm off to have a shower and go to my sons' Kindergarten class celebration! Hopefully this cold will cooperate.
