I really liked the sketch challenge at SCS today, and needed a card to go along with another project I am sending away.
So I've watercolored these lovely leaves and the one popped up rose on watercolor paper. IAnd I've given them a light shadow with a C2 Copic marker. I used simple embellishments like the tied ribbon and simple brads because it needs to have a masculine look.
Not sure if you can see it but I ran the black section through the Argyle Texturz plate to match the designer paper, it really adds to the design. But it's so hard to photograph it in black.
Recipe: Stamps: Flourishes I Love Roses, Signs of Spring; Ink: Black Stazon, Always Artichoke; Paper: Always Artichoke, Basic Black, Watercolor, Bravo Burgundy, Wintergreen DSP; Accessories: Aqua Painters, SW Markers, Dimensionals, Copic Marker C2, Word Window Punch, Vintage Brads, Wide Burgundy Ribbon, Big Shot, Argyle Texturz Plate.
