Hello! Today I’m playing with a really fun stencil and die combo from Waffle Flower, it’s called the Overlapping Christmas Word Stencil Trio and coordinating die. To create the effect I picked three shades of two different colours and alternated the rows of colours between them.
I also ink blended the background with the same inks onto the card panel in an Ombre style, and then added some texture with Waffle Flower’s Sweet Plaid Texture Die. The pretty little stars are included in the stencil and die combo and the accent the ‘word tree’ along with some sequins.
I also added in a bit of white gel pen on some of the letters to give them the look of reflected light. It’s a non-traditional but really fun colour palette for Christmas!
