Power Poppy’s Quite a Christmas Release!

Welcome!  We’re so excited to bring you the long awaited Christmas Release from Power Poppy!  You’re going to be delighted by the 10 - yes TEN gorgeous new sets that will be available as both polymer stamps and digital images.  We’re going to show you five of the sets this week and then five more sets beginning November 12. Marcy was going to call this release “Quiet Christmas” but with each new set she illustrated the general theme amoung the Bloom Brigade was that it was instead “Quite a Christmas!” because of how marvellous it all was.

Today we’re kicking it all off with Mossy Pots with Paperwhites.  Honestly Marcella could throw anything in a pot, literal or illustrated and it would be beautiful.  She just has a way of capturing beauty and whimsy, and this set is no exception.  I’ve coloured up a beautiful basket of paperwhites surrounded by vibrant green moss and elegant ornaments.

I love a blue-green and red palette, and the pop of lime green in there seems just right.  All colouring is done with Copics, and I’ve added interest by mimicking the pattern on the bowl in the patterned paper.

Just a couple of pretty iridescent sequins accent the design.  What’s lovely about this set is that it would work equally well past Christmas because of the other images and sentiments in the set.  It has a very hopeful vibe.

Here are the Copics I used. I took this picture while we were away....so there’s a big difference in lighting!  And here’s a peek at this pretty set!

There’s so much more beautiful in store!   See the rest of the amazing inspiration with this pretty set, from the Bloom Brigade:

Christine, your cards are always so exquisite! You never disappoint, and I love your color palette! It's so soft and delicate, and I love the layout with the sentiment at the bottom with the fish-tail banner across. Your colors all just work together so beautifully as you place them and color them. I love it!! Hugs and love, sweet friend!
