Enchanted Branches - Nativity

Nothing more beautiful for me at Christmas than the depiction of Jesus’ birth.  Today Marcy is showcasing the first of two Enchanted Branches sets from Power Poppy, this one focusses on the Nativity with beautiful images that can be used solo, or showcased as ornaments hung in pretty evergreen branches.  My Mom had some delicate and lovely antique glass ornaments we would hang on the tree each year, and that’s how I picture the images in this set  - as elegant glass ornaments.

Now doesn’t this pretty angel look like Marcy?  Some of the girls on the team commented about the resemblance - and as soon as they said it, I totally agreed!  Our angel Marcy :)

I’ve coloured the images with Copics and cut all the pieces in fishtale pennant style to coordinate in a pretty teal and green palette.  I added a pretty paper bow along the top to anchor the pennants and provide a pretty accent.

A few multi-coloured matching sequins in iridescent blues and greens add some sparkle, and I’ve added some Wow Embossing Powder in Aventurine along the bottom of the white pennant.  Isn’t it funny how more of the sparkle from the embossing powder got on one side of the pennant than the other?

I love the beautiful sentiment, and the awe and joy on the visage of this lovely angel as she gazes at the Saviour.

Here are the Copics I used for this lovely angel.  Here is the lovely Enchanted Branches - Nativity!

Beautiful things to see with the rest of the Bloom Brigade today...

Oh Christine, this image and presentation is perfect in every way! I've long admired how you can bring color balance with your image, papers, embellishments, etc. I remember the tutorial you did on how you do that and gosh, I wish I could do this as innately as you do! Another beauty my sweet friend!
