Happiest Holiday Hop!

We’ve so enjoyed bringing you the Happiest Holidays Release at Power Poppy the past 10 days.  Today all the new sets are available and the Bloom Brigade is showing off one more look to celebrate.

Today I’m delighted to show you another scene from the set Under Glass:  Christmas Traditions.  Marcy could stack anything together and make it look beautiful!  This sweet little scene looks so inviting!

When I was little we had some old fashioned German Glass Christmas ornaments to hang on the tree.  My favourite that I always wanted to put up was a little glass bird with a feathery tail, exactly like the one perched on the present in this scene.  It makes me smile with the fond memories!

To pull this design together, I sewed the layers of designer paper, added a circle behind the image to ground it, and I used a TCP Topped die with snowflakes to highlight the top of the design with a bit of red bakers twine.

A wee snowflake behind the sentiment and an enamel dot finish it off.

Now before you head out....look at the super SALE Marcy is having!!!

And now, here are the beautiful Bloomies in action....

Ooh, Christine, I LOVE the color combination and your fabulous coloring! What a precious memory of the sweet glass bird ornament when you were younger. That makes it a special joy to coloring this image up, and I love the layout with your embellishment and finishing touches. Truly a sweet and gorgeous card, sweet friend! Well, this has been quite the release, and I can hardly wait to color up some of these images. You've really inspired me with this one. Hugs!
