This week we’re kicking off a new round of the TCP Challenge, and the focus is on Sentiments! I think it’s fun to challenge ourselves (especially me as a floral lover), to focus on the sentiment as the main image in your card. Alma is great at giving us such fun sentiments, so it’s not hard to find something TCP that will work wonderfully!
For this card I decided to create a clean design focussing on the HUGS sentiment from our new Sending You set. I started by creating a mask in the center of the design and then stamping the flowers and leaves from our gorgeous set Sketchy Flowers along both sides of the mask. This gives a nice clean line.
I coloured those flowers and leaves with Copics, and then added some Scor Tape along the lines and burnished glitter onto the tape strips.
Then all you need to do is add the sentiment and a little twine and it’s complete!
Here are the details for the Sentiment Challenge, we hope you can join us!
1. Every other Tuesday a new challenge will be posted on The Cat’s Pajamas blog and our Facebook page.
2. If you want to play along you just upload your design to The Cat’s Pajamas blog page using the InLinkz button by the Monday, 11:55 EDT before the next challenge.
3. You are not required to use a Cat’s Pajamas stamp or die but if you have them we would love to see them.
4. On the following TCP Tuesday, the winner will be chosen from the previous challenge and will receive a Cat Cash Voucher for $10 or $15 if a TCP product is used.

Beautiful, love the design with glitter border!! Hope you are safe from all the fires!
Oh, Christine, this is GORGEOUS! I love the great layout with "hugs" in the sweet oval (knew I should have gotten that -- hehe), and I love your beautiful layout with the sparkle. But the flowers really draw me in so. Beautifully colored. Love this card!! And, yes, it's the sentiment that you've so beautifully highlighted -- and it's one I love so!! Hugs, sweet friend!
Oooh, love these flowers and the way you colored them! So free and happy, especially with the big, sweet "hugs". Utterly delightful, Christine!
