Are you in the home stretch of your Christmas preparations? I am not! I really haven’t started much yet, which I’m trying to relax about. Really its not about having it all perfect, it’s really about taking in each moment and being fully present. So that’s what I'm working on this year! Thus, I’m making more simple designs right now to send handmade love, but not fuss too much about them. Today’s pretty sentiment is from Power Poppy’s lovely Joyful Arrangements set (on sale right now too!). I stamped it onto Neenah cream cardstock and just put a little colour and warmth to the design. After cutting it with the die I sponged the inside with Distress Linen ink.
I’ve paired it with Echo Park - The Story of Christmas dp, edged some of the layers with gold and then added those sweet little jingle bells on some twine. I think they really make the card...and they add that festive little jingle too.
Here’s the Copics I used.
And here’s the Bloom Brigade playing along today.

Now don’t forget that we have an awesome challenge going on where you can win a Power Poppy Set. It’s called Time to Rewind, and you can use any of the Power and Spark themes we’ve issued this year!

Oh, Christine, this is beautiful, and I'm with you about keeping it simple this year. But there's nothing simple looking about this card. It's gorgeous with this great stamp set, and I love your coloring and the sponging. Beautifully done, and what a nice finishing touch with the jingle bells and twine! Hugs!
Beautiful card. Love that sentiment and the papers.
so beautiful and elegant card Christine

I am with you on just being in the moment and enjoying the season Christine. I like the CAS style you created and the depth of coloring is awesome. Beautiful card.
The jingle bells make this so cute! Love this set, and this paper collection has been my favorite this year. Cute card, Christine!
So sweet, love the bells with the joy banner and your antiquing of the main image, the wood banner background is neat with it!
