If you’re looking for my A Day for Daisies post just scroll down :)
I have a pretty little winter treat for you on this Power Poppy Friday. Ever since I coloured up the Camellias in tones of grey and peach, I’ve wondered how the lovely little flowers in the Winter Pick-Me-Up set from Power Poppy would look in a similar style. So, today I have yellow crocuses blooming from the winter snow.
After adding some warm yellow to match these papers from MME Lost and Found, I die cut them with a lovely Spellbinders die (Radiant Rectangles) from XPress It Blending Paper, framing it out with Vellum.
I’ve also added a vellum sentiment overtop using our Poinsettia stamp set and stamping in VersaFine ink for a really sharp impression. The accents are seam binding and black faceted gems to keep it simple and classy.
Now pop on by the Bloom Brigade girls playing along today and be sure to join in our Power Poppy Peep of the week contest. All the details are on the Power Poppy Blog HERE.

What a feast for the eye, Christine! Both regal and feminine, you've captured this beauty wonderfully!! I love the colors and detailed frames.
Beaytiful.
WOWZA!!! This is stunning, Christine!
Very pretty, Christine! I just love how this looks with your coloring, and the papers are a wonderful choice with the yellow.
Christine this is gorgeous! Love the colours, so soft and pretty. Beautiful layout and papers. Love the frame work you cut the flowers with and that bit of vellum behind - beautiful!
Oh Christine... it's so beautiful! so Spring like and dainty! Love your vellum detail too!
This is sooo pretty and delicate. Isn't it funny how crocuses look fragile but are one of the hardiest plants! Truly enjoy the grey palette with the yellow flowers.
Beautiful, the yellow and grey are even better. I think I am gonna need to do that this week myself. The vellum adds a soft elegance. Beautiful girl!
Oh my this is just lovely, such sweet coloring and lovely framing, like your paper design too!
Oh, Christine, I love these colors together! And I agree with Leslie about the papers...perfect and a wonderful combination, especially with the vellum! I have thought about using vellum and then so easily forget...it really adds a lovely touch! You've really made a delicate beauty with these sweet flowers! Warm hugs, and I continue to pray for your healing!
