Another lovely Friday has rolled around and we’ve got Power Poppy goodness to show you! Just 3 more weeks until our September Release....and it’s all Christmas and Holiday themed! I’m so excited!
So, to tide you over until that happy time, we’ve got some more inspiration today!
In this fabulous set, Sunny Harvest, the only element I hadn’t yet used were these gorgeous Chinese Lanterns. I stamped them in Memento Tuxedo Black on Cougar Opaque card stock, colouring them with Copics and then carefully trimming them out with a tiny border. I think it really adds to that dainty feel of the branches. Then I embossed the panel with a Spellbinder’s embossing folder Whimsical Flora, then I cut out a window with a Spellbinders Labels 10 die, and then used two larger sizes of the same die and cut out a frame to pop up (also on embossed cardstock - just turned the debossed way). Inside all of this I popped up the coloured image. Even though it’s all cream - it really does have a lot of dimension and texture.
I also added some pretty cotton lace, a seam binding bow and an enamel dot to accent. The happy birthday greeting is from another Power Poppy set that I love greatly - Dynamic Duos: Peonies and Tulips, and it’s stamped in Memento Potters Clay.
Copics: YG91, YG93, YG95, R24, R29, R39, YR12, YR14, YR15, YR18, YR09
So...here we are at another week where you can play in our Power Poppy Peep of the Week contest. All the details are at the Power Poppy Blog. It’s a great way to show off your Power Poppy goodies and have a chance to win even MORE Power Poppy goodies.
