September Release - Home for the Holidays!

Welcome to our September New Release Week at Flourishes!  We're so excited to have five gorgeous new sets to show off to you this month all with a Christmas and Holiday celebration theme!  Can you believe there are only 106 days until Christmas?  We know it's always great to get a jump start on those projects and cards early, so here we are with wonderful inspiration just for you.  From our home to yours, this beautiful Home for the Holidays set offers welcoming words to share this Christmas season. Illustrated by Marcella Hawley, this stately door is sure to send heartfelt seasons greetings to homes both near and far. The set also offers an accent swag and three beautifully scripted sentiments as well. The set measures 4" by 6".

Because of the wonderful Chrismtas theme of COURSE I had to do a red door!  It's just so festive and welcoming.  We recently painted our front door a dark colour and I love it!  I think this image is so elegant, what a gorgeous door right?  I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Flourishes Classic White card stock.  Then I coloured it up with some rich reds and greens in our Copic Collections, cutting it out with this pretty Spellbinders die - Opulent Ovals.  I've layered it onto Flourishes Color Made Easy Pistachio card stock with some embossing.  The card measures 5 x 5.  

Some finishing details include Kaiser Sparklets, red and green velvet ribbon, and white lace.   You might also be able to see that I added some sparkle pen on the wreath and in the "glass" of the windows.  

And inside I stamped the sentiment and the other gorgeous bough element in the set in Memento Olive Grove ink.    Here's the Copic Collections I used.
