I had some summer fun with this sketch and our Wild for Watermelon set. One of the things the kids love to do over the 4th with their cousins when we're together is to have a seed spitting contest :) I love those sweet summer memories!
For this melony card I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Flourishes Classic White Cardstock, then coloring with Copic Markers. I had some fun creating a window shape in the design with the negative of a Spellbinders Ovals die in Color Made Easy Poppy Cardstock and a Scalloped Ovals die in the designer paper, layering everything together. Then I accented with some Color Made Easy - Pistachio cardstock for the sentiment, some pretty seambinding in a bow and a button and some twine.

Liking your recent berries and melon posts! What refreshing glances at the fruitfulness of summer accompanying each sentiment! And then there is the splash and dash card in mighty summery red and white decked out in gingham ribbons/ ruffles. Happy fifth from The Fourth. mt23stamperatyahodc
