Be Still...and Cozy

LAST CHANCE!  Blog Candy HERE :)

Welcome to Friday!  Today the Senior Design Team at Flourishes is showing off any set, so you'll get to see a sweet smorgasboard of creativity.  I decided to pull out one of my favourite Flourishes Christmas set from last winter called Snow Wonderful.  These two birds in particular just make me smile!  This would be the scene here in my neck of the woods today in Alberta.  We had 4 inches of snow yesterday (far too early for this!) and the birds will have to hunker down a little to be cozy.  There is something so peaceful about freshly fallen snow though, perfect for the sentiment "Be Still".

I stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Flourishes Classic Ivory Cardstock, cutting the shape out with our own custom Tailor Made Classic Keyhole dies from Flourishes, that was made specifically for this set and the set Petals & Peace.  Then I colored up with Copic Markers, pairing the image with these  papers from Echo Park called Christmas This & That, and Flourishes Color Made Easy Pistachio Paper.  The I framed the designer paper out with Spellbinders Edgeabilities - Classic Edges and Classic Decorative Inserts Four, with some pretty organza roses and Color Made Easy Seam Binding, tying the sentiment on the Classic Tag with some beautiful iridescent string.

Here's the graphics of some of the items I used.  It always is nice to picture them, not just list them.

Today you'll be pleased to hear that our Sale Items on the Flourishes Gambler's Sale have gone down another 5% today!  How low will they go before they are gone?  Will you take the gamble?

Be sure to visit the rest of the Design Team today I know they'll have some wonderful Flourishes goodness to show you.

This is so pretty Christine. Those birds are so sweet. I am enjoying the much cooler weather here but am not looking forward to the snow until December...it feels a little more like Christmas with it on the ground. :)

    Hugs~
