Naturally Merry

Another stunner to show you today at Flourishes October Release Peeks, today's set Naturally Merry is a pairing of amazing winter/Christmas images you'll love!

I love this holly and berry image, so much so that I decided it just needed to make a frame for this lovely sentiment.  So I stamped 4 of the holly/berry rows onto Flourishes Classic White cardstock with Memento Ink.  Knowing I wanted them to line a popped up frame, I marked each one as to what direction the "sun" or highlight would be coming from so once it was placed onto the card, the copic coloring would look cohesive, with the highlights and shadows coming from the same direction.  Now I was a little crazy and cut all of these out...but with the new cut files that will be available in the store, this would be a SNAP to create.  That's what I'll be doing in the future now that we'll have them.

I'm really quite delighted with how it came out!  I've placed the wreath onto our new Flourishes Color Made Easy Poppy cardstock, accenting with the Color Made Easy Basque Red Seam Binding, pretty Iridescent cording, red rhinestones and thin velvet ribbon, stamping the sentiment with Love Letter Memento ink as well as Bamboo Leaves Memento ink.

Here's the beautiful Color Made Easy Collection and Copics I used:

Now be sure to come back at Noon Central Time for the Noon-Time Challenge ....I'll have another sample from this set!

Now, is "Merry and Bright" supposed to be a sentiment, or a description of the card itself? Because you've definitely nailed both merry and bright!
