Here is a card I made a while ago for a magazine submission that was rejected, so now I get to share it with you. It combines that old art of correspondance and some beautiful cheerful flowers in a lovely scene. It's with Flourishes' From the Desk of Set, and Tag Lines for the Sentiment, colored with Copic Markers in some cheerful yellows, and then framed out with the Postage Stamp Nestabilities dies, using the reverse side of the die scrap for the sentiment. Simple details withe some satin ribbon, polka dot ribbon and ivory crochet ribbon all from Flourishes as well and some tiny rhinestones. The little touch of designer paper is from Kaiser Hunt and Gather.
One last look at the coloring and there you have it! See you late Wednesday night for our Flourishes April Sneak Peeks!

I agree it should have been published, it is gorgeous !! Have a great day. Hugs n' Stuff, Lynne
What a shame that this was rejected by the magazine, but that means that *we* get to see it here on your blog! It's so beautiful. I love all the extra details you give to your projects, with punching, bling, fibers, and beautiful coloring.
Thanks for coming to visit me today. It was so good to see you!
Wow, I love the warm yellow tones on this gorgeous card! It's a winner in my book! You are so right about handwritten letters being a lost art! I find myself doing less and less of it due to email and it's a sad thing.
It is wonderful to receive a letter someone actual wrote with their own handwriting, this card is just lovely to go with such note, beautiful coloring!
I just love this image and you have coloured it wonderfully. Lovely touch with the postage stamp nestie frame and bling.
The competition must have been extreme for you not to have been accepted! Beautiful card.
I love the items that you show us that help to inspire you! It gives me a peak into your "HEART"! I REALLY WOULD LOVE A PRIZE! THANKS DEBBIE SEGLER
