Welcome to the last day of Flourishes Sneak Peeks for March! Haven't they been wonderful? Today's set though rocks the house I have to say. It's my favourite of this release.
If you're anything like me, you'll probably do a little melty thing when you stamp this image for the first time. It has such spectacular detail. Kudos once again to our illustrator Marcella Hawley!
I found some beautiful magnolias in Central Park on the internet that inspired this card (see below). I LOVED the deep purply pink in the base of the petals contrasted with the pinkish-white in the blossom petals as well, so I tried to recreate that in my coloring.
I love the sentiments in this set as well. This one especially, anything to do with Hope has a special place in my heart.

Christine, as always, you've WOWED me! This is GORGEOUS! I LOVE the magenta, the embellishements, how you layered Labels 10 over Labels 20 (I'm going to have to try that myself), and this magnolia image is BEAUTIFUL!

Your coloring is so beautiful, the flower just pops out and comes to life. You can also see the light dancing on the leaves. Such lovely work.....

ReplyDeleteI'm fascinated with the photo of PINK magnolias! Central Park, that's NY. Hmmm must be a different variety. They are pretty in pink:) In the deep south our magnolias are white, but the smell wonderful. Their scent will fill a room when brought indoors. Your card is lovely:)
