I really had the best time playing with this month's Releases at Flourishes. And this set in particular....He is Risen. I think it is an outstanding Easter set. And yet, so much of it can be used outside of Easter as well. These lilies are beautifully done by Marcella.
Today I wanted to show you this windowed-style card I created with the lilies in the set and focussing on one of the Verses. I layered my dies so that the sentiment would be in the inner window and stacked open dies (negative space of dies cut) over top. Then I added some Nestabling to really frame out the design.
Coloring on the lilies is with Copics in soft blues, greens and grays, with some touches of yellow accent. The papers are gorgeous MME Vanity Fair. And I've added a little crochet ribbon along the bottom to accent.

This is so pretty Christine. I am loving your bling and ribbon. I just placed an order yesterday and I am looking forward to all the new goodies. Great card as always.
Wonderful work Christine, this is one of my favorite flowers too. It has so may possiblities with the images. Thank for the inspiration of placing the bling "out side the box", I am so literal that by brain does not go in that direction. lol I will file that idea away to use some day.
This is SO beautiful Christine!!!
This is stunning Christine. I love the teal colored paper and pretty bling. :)

This is so pretty, Christine! Great design with the papers, bling, and ribbon. Love how you used your colors for shading the lilies. Nice!
Oh Christine, this is so amazing. I love you papers and colors you chose! I have yet to try that Nestie Bling, but I really do need to get some now :)
Beautiful, luxurious card! ;)
Beautiful card, Christine...so pristine and pure and love your blue paper background and framed image! Hope things are going well with the braces, good for you getting that done!!
Lovely design and flowers bordering your sentiment label!
Beautiful! I really like how you masked and framed the sentiment with the flowers. The beaded jewels are always a fabulous idea.
