It sparkles, shines and glistens on the landscape. Let's capture some of that snowy sparkle on our cards and creations. Use glitter, Flower Soft or any kind of bling that offers up a snowy feel. | ||
I pulled out the October Release of A Season of Celebrations to create this cute winter scene with Memento Ink on Kraft paper, using a Spellbinders Picot Edge Circle die to cut it out. I have a lot of pictures of this one, because I couldn't seem to capture the card well enough in the right light - so I hope you don't mind! The card is 5 x 5 in size.
I added some white to the snowy hills with my Prismacolor pencil and then added the Polar White Flower Soft to the hill tops for the snow. As you can see I've tried to create the feeling of Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis in the skyline with some up-strokes of Copic Markers (BG70, BG72). Then I've added some sparkle to the words of the sentiment too.
I've used this week's Mojo Monday sketch adding in the pretty papers from Prima called North Country. And then added some pretty Sparklets in Cameo, some pretty ribbon and a snowflake I cut out of acetate with my Spellbinders die, adding embossing powder on top of it to give it that shimmery fun color.
