So today brings us to our Pre-Release Challenge that we invite you to participate in....
Here's the scoop: The Heavy Metals Challenge: Gold, silver, copper or bronze, whichever metal you pick, just make it take center stage on your card or creation! Code word for uploading on online galleries is FLLCOCT11. And please link your creation to the Flourishes blog post! Deadline for entry is October 14th at 5 PM Eastern, you could win the entire October Release!
Copper tones are so beautiful when paired with cream I think. So I went to town with some shimmery copper cardstock and embossing this gorgeous Flourishes Alleluia Angel Image in Copper Embossing Powder. Did I blind you with the shine? Sorry - it's so hard to capture the shimmer in the paper and not have the flash flash too much! I've used a good amount of Spellbinders to make it all come together. Including Labels Twenty-Three, Labels Eighteen, Fleur De Lis Rectatangles, and Classic Circles. As well as some pretty embossing.
Now what do I love best about this? That GORGEOUS RIBBON! It's new in the store and it's quickly becoming my favourite, it's iridescent so it picks up the light beautifully and ties beautifully too. Now that I look for it of course it's so beautiful that it's out right now....but back in soon! Then I added a tiny little lovely Kaiser Sparklets in Cameo.
I've used this months' SFYTT from Jen for the pretty layout.
So please jump in! You have a week to make something fabulous with "metals"- and you could win this months' New Releases!
