Mr. Fix-It

Yesterday we celebrated our Administrative Staff at Church with a brunch we Pastor's make for them,  and this year I was asked to make all the cards.  We include all our support staff that aren't Pastors in the Appreciation, so there were 10 cards I needed to make.  The bummer was, I didn't get to go to the brunch, our older son was sick at home with a cold :( so I was home with him.  I told my husband to make sure he paid attention as to how the cards went over :)   I thought I'd show you one of them I made today....

This was for our Maintenance Guy, he's truly a Mr. Fix It.  Any project around our church property (we have 3 older buildings - built in the 1940's and 1950's) he can do - and he does!  He's renovated, reconstructed, rejuvenated...created and polished much of our facility making things work.  We're blessed to have him.   On the card I've used the very fun Mix-N-Mugs set  and I knew the tools in the mug would be perfect for him.

I've also used this weeks Mojo Sketch

Here you can see the dimension of the tools in the cup, the zig zag theme in the Pinked Circles, the border punch and the chevron style embossed layer (I can't even remember what this one is called).  Isn't it cute that the stamp has band-aids in there?  Every Mr. Fix-It sometimes needs fixing himself!

Back tomorrow with our Flourishes NEW RELEASE Challenge!  There are some great NEW things in store for next week you won't want to miss it!

Stamps:  Flourishes - Mix-N-Mugs;  Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black, Pacific Point;  Paper:  Pacific Point, Flourishes Classic White, Basic Grey- Marrakech DP, Poppy Parade, Poppy Parade Prints DP;  Accessories:  Big Shot, Pinked Circles Nestabilities, Ribbon Tags Die, Pinked Hearts Border Punch, Embossing Folder, Copic Markers, Dimensionals, Large Silver Brads, Twine (Flourishes).

This is perfect, Christine! I know without having been there that the cards went over famously! I'm sorry you didn't get to attend, but your child is, of course, #1 and everyone understands.
