Flourishes Friday Focus - Calendars!

Well, it's a fun Flourishes Friday this week with Dawn as our hostess with the mostess and she's got a special guest and a Theme of Calendars!

I love our classy Calendars from Flourishes (free download!) and the beautiful A Year in Flowers sets, and if you've been following me for a while, you know that I made a set of calendars and matching card for each month for my Sister-in-Law in the US for her birthday.  So here we are at the month of March!  If you're interested in seeing the other months so far just click on Calendars in the bottom of the post.  Or I think THIS LINK might work too

Pansies are just the prettiest flower...so many colors and varieties - and I love the veining in pansies usually with some fun contrasting color in the center.  Creation never ceases to inspire me!  I've chosen some pppppurples for these pansies and then bordered them with the beaded ovals Nesties and this lovely Victorian Borderabilities die from Spellbinders.  The papers are Memory Box Gossamer.

Then on the card I kept the theme of the calendar and added some pearls and this gorgeous velvet ric rack ribbon.  It's quite a thick card, but boy do I love this month's design...and I'm not even a really purple person!  I think it's all the good green I added in there :)

So the rest of the Flourishes Design Team girls will tantalize you with something gorgeous today all the way around...so give them a visit!

Dawn Burnworth
and Laura Fredrickson is joining us for a last week and she has FAB blog candy!

Stamps:  Flourishes a Year in Flowers I;  Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black;  Paper:  Garden Green, Orchid Opulence (I think????), Flourishes Classic White, Memory Box Gossamer;  Accessories;  Big Shot, Beaded Ovals Nestabilities, Victorian Borderabilities, Pearls, Velvet Ric Rack Ribbon, Copic Markers, Dimensionals.
