Wonderful Winter White

Second post for today, see below for my TSG Post :)

There is something so very beautiful about fresh fallen snow.  For those of you who live in climates without snow, I wish I could describe the amazing white, the shimmer like diamonds, the hushed stillness that comes over the land when it snows :)

Today's Flourishes Pre-Release Challenge is all about Winter White!  Show off a little pop of color, but make sure the overall feeling is white.

Now all this white is a little uncharacteristic of me I know...but the beautiful crispness is growing on me :)    I've used the beautiful Boxwood Wreaths from the lovely Poinsettia and Boxwood set, stamping both the larger and smaller wreath in Memento Cottage Ivy Ink.  I cut out the wreaths and the pretty bow and set them together in layers.

I cut out a larger oval shape window with my nestabilities into the white cardstock and then embossed it with the poinsettia embossing folder.  Then I created a smaller frame with my Oval Nesties and attached the gorgeous Pleated Ribbon behind the oval frame with Scor Tape, setting my ribboned ovals into the window I had created in the embossed layer.

Then a little touch of pretty rhinestone embellishments....and curving the sentiment from the Rejoice Angel set and it's complete.

To enter our Winter White challenge, simply link your card up HERE. If you upload to SCS, please use the keyword FLLCDEC10. You have until December 10th at 5 PM Eastern to enter! Use Flourishes stamps if you have them, but if you don't, please play along anyway! The winner will receive all of our new releases for the month!

Now head on over to the rest of the Design Team to see their Winter White Creations!
