A few nights ago friends took us out for supper to a Thai restaurant here in town. Thai food is my favourite ethnic food, and the food at this restaurant never disappoints. And OH BOY we had so many courses I felt like we were rolling out the door, and it was a lovely evening of conversation too. They are both professionals and our ministry schedule doesn't often lend itself to get together so it was a wonderful treat all around. I made this card to say thank you to them for the evening.
I've used a Verve Sketch from World Cardmaking Day...and in anticipation of their new releases coming...they have a number of sketches to choose from.
I colored the pretty Hibiscus flowers on vacation and was waiting for the right card to put them on. I added leaves and sentiment from the Dream Big set in Pear Pizzazz and Memento Cantaloupe ink.
Coloring is done with copics, I added some sweeping strokes to create the deeper flower lines in the center.
Look at that gorgeous gem accent! It's a Fairy Flora Pebble that goes with the Prima papers. I love how it accents the card, and the little half bow.
Alright I'm off... our girl has a awful cold that's kept her down for several days...and I feel that sneaking sneezy feeling coming on...not going to get sick, not going to get sick!
