Rejoice!

Happy Thanksgiving Canadians!  


Today we're hosting Thanksgiving Dinner at our house, my Mom and Dad are coming and my Brother and Sister-in-Law and sweet Niece as well.  It will be a good day, with no shortage of food, much laughter with my little niece and family, and so much more to be thankful for.  We are very blessed, and God is so good to us!


So it's fitting that today Flourishes is Sneak Peeking a set we'll releasing later this week, it's actually a part of a retired set (Angelic) coming back as a single stamp.  It really encompasses my attitude about the upcoming Christmas Season.  And it's such a lovely stamp!

I love this stamp because it has such elegant, almost gothic writing, and these beautiful vining holly and ivy trails.  I love the look of cream on cream, but I rarely do it....so today I stamped on Flourishes European Watercolor Paper and also used that as my card base.  The letters and leaves are watercolored to give it a soft yet beautiful touch. 

Above you can see the gorgeous flourishy pearls that I used to accent the card.  Oh have you SEEN all the new Zva pearls in the store? AMAZING.  This particular set is deep blue and it's a huge set of pearls. I cut this flourish down actually to work on the card.  


And you can also see the gorgeous satin pleated ribbon I used too.  I've added some beautiful Curling Sparkling Gold ribbon overtop to give it a little touch of sparkle.  


On this other angle below you can see the Floral Accent pieces I added to the Nestie to give it that swirly feeling and some balance. 

Simple but elegant.
