A Little Mary Engelbreit

In a little less than a week - Flourishes will usher in the Feel of Fall as they unveil a handfull of new stamp sets. While some are sure to create that perfect homespun charm, another is urging us to band together and "Fight Like Girls!" We'll kick off the sneak peeks next Wednesday -- and you won't want to miss a minute of the action! Each day will bring a chance to win the set of the day!

So this week we've come up with our pre-release challenge, a Sketch!
Would you like a chance to win all FOUR of our new releases?! Just make a card using this sketch. That's it! Link your creation onto our new Mr. Linky link box at the Flourishes Blog and... you're in the running! If you upload to Splitcoaststampers, please use the keyword FLLCSEPT.

Here's what I created with the sketch this month:  Doesn't it look a little Mary Engelbreit-ish to you?  Those deep bold colors and patterns, it's all inspired by the new Basic Grey June Bug
I colored the blossoms with my Copic Markers (Dusty Rose Collection primarily), adding some to the main image that were also popped up.  I grabbed my Spellbinders Pierceabilities and pierced a pretty design with the template on the vertical panel and added Kaiser pearls.  The I also pierced some of the vines on the focal shape.  Isn't this gorgeous silk ribbon a perfect match?
So will you join us in this Sketch Challenge?  Remember though, in order to be in the running, you have to link up your card by clicking on the Mr. Linky logo. The contest closes Friday, September 11th at 4:00 PM CST. The winner will be announced during our Power Hour Release Party which kicks off that night at 9 PM Central time! Hope you make time to play!

And hey....I passed the 100 000 blog hits mark!  WOW!  Thanks for stopping by friends!  Look for some fabulous blog candy to celebrate next week!

Here's the other fabulous Flourishes Girls' to check out for inspiration with the sketch!
