Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy

Summer’s here and the time is right for…. making easy breezy lemon squeezy cards! When warm weather hits, many of us want to be outside and having some fun in the sun, but we can’t give up our love of card making! This Flourishes challenge is all about making simple cards with a summer time flair.

I created this multi-colored embossed Daffodil by using my Stampin' Spots Craft pads in Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie and Garden Green directly on the stamp. Because the Stampin' Spots are small you can get into the smaller places. After stamping I embossed with clear Embossing Powder. It sure gives it a nice glossy look.

I also used my new Spellbinders Impressabilities plate to created the debossed texture on the white layer (boy I wish you could see it better - it's so pretty!). I added a simple row of this beautiful ribbon from the Flourishes store, and the brand new Finishing Touches Beautiful Brads as accent. Simple - but elegant.

So, join us! Make an easy breezy card and either leave a comment on the Flourishes Newsletter HERE or upload to SCS using the keyword fllcjune. If you play along you could win all three of our new releases to be unveiled starting next Wednesday! The deadline to enter is Friday, June 12th at 5 PM Eastern.

We'll announce the lucky winner during our release party. Check the Flourishes Newsletter for details!

And...stop by these Design Team Members' Blogs to see what Easy Breezy Creations they've put together...
