Well, it's my turn on the Flourishes Blog today to show you a tutorial on some pretty Easter projects. I'll give you a sneak peek here:
I did a little tutorial on how to use the new Jenni Bowlin papers to create these cute Easter baskets that can be used as place settings for your Easter table, or as a sweet little gift for everyone. Filled with Jelly Bellies - and Mini Easter eggs....my FAV!
And, as a special Easter creation for our family I used Kelly Lunceford's tutorial for accordian flowers to create this special HOPE Banner for us. The message of Easter to me is HOPE, it is what gives my life purpose and direction. My Saviour payed the price for me and conquered sin and death in the Resurrection and I have reason to Hope in Him!
I've cut the banner out with my SU Big Shot, and used chipboard letters, Craft Ink and Irridescent Ice to make them shine, or added Jenni Bowlin papers to accent them. Each piece of the banner has a watercolored daffodil on it as a symbol of hope.
The Flourishes blog has closeups of the banner as well if you'd like to check it out! Have a great day...I'm enjoying the day with my Dirty Dozen friends at the SU regionals! Yippee!
Wow! The banner is so pretty! LOve the colours and the daffodils! Love the baskets too!
