Oceans of Birthday Wishes

Whew!  We could use a little under the sea action today!  It’s a warm one and I’ve been painting our bathroom, so I feel doubly warm.  To cool it off I created this ocean scene with some fun sets from The Cat’s Pajamas - Bunnies at Sea, Seas the Birthday and Bubble Happen.  First off, I washed in the watercolour strip with three different shades of blue and green to give it that undersea look.  Next I watercoloured the bunny and fish with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, then after the watercolour panel was dry I embossed the bubbles.

To make the sentiment work with the fun ombre background, I stamped the sentiment running vertically with 4 different shades of ink, then I just added the “sending you” onto the front in a teal.

I added some bubbles with some iridescent Nuvo Dots to give it a bit of sparkle.  Inside I stamped the sentiment in an ombre fashion as well, from green to teal.  Forgot to take a picture of that!

What about you?  What are you doing for summer fun these days?
