Tangy Enamels

Here is my submission for today's Inspiration Challenge I found this great pattern of enamel dishware on Mackintosh Enamels and thought I would try and recreate it.
This is a time consuming card, but not difficult. I began by sponging some Rose Red ink on the Always Apricot layer, then clear embossing some of the fruits on that Always Apricot layer. Then you just take your time adding color by sponging and brayering, stamping the fruits again in Pumpkin Pie Craft and embossing ..stamping the cherries in Rose Red dye ink and then finally some last sponging in Rose Red to give the same variation in color as the inspiration piece.
The vellum layer is stamped with Craft Ink and clear embossed and the sponged over with color. I made a *window frame* for my vellum by cutting it just 1/4 inch larger than the vellum and then using my square punch to trim out the inside frame, then a little scissor work to get the rounded edge.

The sentiment section is done by using the 1 3/8 inch circle punch on a Rose Red Scrap, then using the scallop punch to make a *scalloped frame*, the sentiment is just stamped and punched with a 1 inch circle punch. The ribbon is colored with an Always Apricot SW Marker to make it a match for the color pallette.

Thanks for stopping by today!
