Power Poppy Hummingbird Paradise

Hello!  Today is a day to dig into those beautifully saturated Copic markers and a gorgeous set by Power Poppy called Hummingbird Paradise.  Its everything I love about a stamp set, lush florals, and an awesome variety to colour.  Power Poppy never disappoints when it comes to flowers.  This wonderful set contains Dahlias, Honeysuckle, Fuchsia, Lupine, Primrose and Morning Glories.

After I coloured all the elements with Copics, I trimmed out the middle of the frame to make way for the inner sentiment which is laid overtop of a the Elongated Lattice work die from Pinkfresh Studios.  Next I added the embossed vellum sentiment from the polymer version of this stamp set (now retired), with holeless sequins to add that touch of sparkle.  I can just imagine a tiny hummingbird buzzing in and out of these blooms!

Wishing you a lovely day too!  Thanks for joining me!

This is so gorgeous, Christine!! I love the deep hues and the vellum for the sentiment…dreamy and color pops as well!! I wonder if Power Poppy is going to continue with just the digital images which is sad for me as I don’t prefer doing digital and have tried a few times. But I’ve been a big fan and avid collector since the beginning. Hope the blog continues.
