Sneaky Peek - TCP’s Welcome Gnome

Welcome to the January Sneaky Peek Week from The Cat’s Pajamas!  I have to say, there’s some really cute things coming your way this week.  Think Spring and Love and adorable!

Today we kick it all of with this fun set called Welcome Gnome!  It is a set jam-packed with adorable woodland gnome image and fun sentiments that will make it a go-to set all year long.  For today’s card I coloured up a few of the gnomes and the pretty mushroom with Copic Markers and then trimmed them out.  They are popped up on the scene with foam dots.

I just purchased some new patterned paper and had this particular sheet in mind for this card (Craft Consortium - Over the Hedge), just because of the beautiful woodland pattern with the matching mushrooms and that gorgeous black background.

I placed the scene onto the shaped portion of TCP’s Birch Snowglobe Die, and then added the fun new Grassy Patches die cut into green cardstock on top.  It’s a great die because it has three different sized portions of grass patches.  Next I added a pretty little bit of polka-dot ribbon as a nod to the spots on the mushroom and a couple of enamel dots.   The sentiment from the set is stamped first with Memento Ladybug ink and then restamped with Memento Love Letter ink - inking just the bottom of the letters to give the ombre feel.

Such a cute little design to say hello!

Here’s a peek at the delightful NEW products I used today.

I adore the paper you used for the background. It looks like the gnomes are in a little home, sort of, and the wilderness is outside waiting for them to explore...Great card!
