Grab the Unicorn

Today we’re showcasing the CUTEST new set from The Cat’s Pajamas called Grab the Unicorn!  It includes an adorable variety of little unicorns and some fun sentiments!  Because I wanted to do some ink blending, I coloured up the little unicorn with Copics and matched my ink blending for the background to the colours in the umbrella and mane and fussy cut him out.

Next I did some ink blending of the pennant and the background using Distress Oxide Inks and our Big Beautiful Blending Brush.  Finishing it off with some splashing of water and some white opaque paint.  To mimic the rainbow feel of the card, I accented the pennant with TCP’s Rolling Hills Border Die.  It’s a nice addition because you can see the background ink through the cut outs in the die.

Just a few holographic holeless sequins add some more iridescent sparkle!

Here’s a peek at the cutie-patootie set!

Your cute little unicorn card are all gorgeous, Christine! I love them all, but my favourite would have to be the last one with the ink blended background and lovely delicate white die cut! Thanks so much for sharing the inspiration!
