I’m so delighted with today’s sets! It has everything I love about Power Poppy. Knock your socks off elegant florals, to sweet scenes that charm you. We’ll start it all off with a set I’ve been hoping for and now it’s here! It’s called Abundant Petals.
This set enables you to become your own master florist, Marcy has illustrated a multitude of flowers in such classy variety for you to create your own bouquets. From the mondo and majestic full showstopper arrangement of flowers, to a sweet simple single flower arrangement, it’s got you covered! And the sentiments are so lovely. Great news is that coordinating dies are available for this set.
The sentiment says it all for me....my heart is full! You can probably tell I loved colouring this arrangement of flowers. I created an apricot-to-peach version of a peony, added in some orange ranunculus, a yellow rose, then mixed in some sweet acid greenery and some pretty teeny daisies.
A little tip: What I like to do when I create big arrangements like this is to have all my pieces in front of me and then just keep playing with them till I have an bouquet I like. Then I take a picture with my iphone so I have something to refer to when I’m glueing it all together. It also helps me see how different arrangments might compare, and then pick the one I like.
It’s all placed on a round card design with a watercolour background of green.
I kept everything else really simple and only included the sentiment and some clear sequins hidden between the layers. It adds touches of sparkle without being fussy.
And finally the sweet Baby Set we’ve been waiting for! Here is Precious Baby!
It’s all precious memories with this set which has a bit of vintage style to it. That sweet-pea baby is adorable and I can’t wait to colour that one up; but as soon as I saw the set I was swept back to when my brother was born. I know we had the exact ceramic lamp planter Marcy drew given to us as a gift, and it was in my brother’s room. I was about 2 1/2 when he was born, but I can picture it just as plain as day. That’s the image I had to do first!
Adorable! I wanted my scene to be a bit boy/girl friendly so I went with pretty shades of green, yellow and mint and this fun paper, It’s a Boy from Echo Park. I sewed together my layers in little stripes, adding some baby elements as accent.
I coloured my image to match up with the baby paper including the little plaid touches. A sweet little safety pin and button carry through the baby theme.
And now it’s off to the rest of the Bloom Brigade for inspiration that will wow you! Marcy will have all the sale details at the Power Poppy blog! Don’t forget you still have time to enter the Giveaway too! And, check out this fabulous Promotion if you’re ordering anything in the new collection....

Oh just so cute. Love the tip about arranging the flowers before gluing down, it's also great the flowers come with a die too as I just am rubbish at fussy cutting lol. The pea in a pod stamp set is soooo very cute and quite versatile. Love both. TFS xx
