Well, hello!
I’ve been away for a little while :)
Like my new blog design? I love it! I’ll be tweaking it over the next few days, but I do like I can have multiple pages along the top green bar (see my For Sale Page), and also that you can pin or share posts from the bottom bar of each post automatically (see the little icons at the end of the post). No wondering if my “pin it” button would work intermittently or not.
So, where have we been? Our family did some vacationing. First we sent our oldest daughter to New Zealand to meet her best friend who was finishing up Bible School there and they toured the Islands for 16 days. What an adventure! Then, a few days later we left to visit my husband’s family in the US - 3 out of four of his siblings were there, as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren! There were 23 of us there! It was a little nutty, but a a great way to celebrate the 4th of July. Then we drove back up to the Canadian Rockies and spent a few days in the Banff area, my favourite place in the world. If I can find some time to edit photos in a few days I’ll show you some highlights.
Now we’re back! So today I’ve got a new creation for you with the TCP Challenge that’s going on, and it’s a Sketch Challenge.
I thought a fun and summery colour palette would work great with this super fun set from the last release Drop In. Stamped onto Neenah White with Tuxedo Black ink, coloured with Copics and then trimmed out. I did some loopy stitching around the design to give it some framing, which works with the awesome CutUps Stitched Clouds Die. I have used these little clouds on SO much! They’re so perfect for summer.
These are older papers from MME, School Daze that had some fun citrusy and sea blue colours I thought worked well together with the sketch... want to see?
I finished it off with some enamel dots to keep it simple. So summery don’t you think?
Here’s the Copics I used above.
Thanks for dropping by!

I know I have said it before but you are a master at mixing pattern papers. This is so pretty and bright and happy.
