The Cat’s Pajamas Fun Begins with Space Cadet!

Hello and welcome to The Cat’s Pajamas Sneaky Peek Week!  The next 7 days are full of fast, furious, FUN new sets and dies from TCP.  There’s so much cuteness and creativity in store.  Today is Day One and we’re bringing you one adorable set called Space Cadet!  It’s so fun to play with!

I took the very dapper Poochie in the rocket stamp, inking it with Memento Tuxedo Black and stamping onto Neenah White cardstock.  I inked a second rocket and just used that front section to add some dimension to the rocket and then coloured with Copics.

Next I did a little playing around with the sentiment, the speech bubble CutUps die that I love so much from TCP is a little small for this sentiment.  So, I just layed it on my cardstock and traced out the basic shape of the die, moving it in length and width,  adding a little size to the shape, but keeping the same shape.   Then I added some fun arrows from the same CutUps set in patterned paper.

For the planetary background I cut my basic circular card shape on my Silhouette machine, just adding in some smaller circles to be cut out on the inside of the larger card base circle, then I just popped that up on another tone of orange card stock behind it.  Really easy to do actually and then I just accented with some coloured Candi for that 3D circle theme.

Here are the Copics I used.

You’ll want to check out the rest of the Cat Pack today because there’s so much more to this fun set!

And before you go, be sure to put the TCP Pajama Party on your calendar.  It’s next Monday at the TCP Splitcoaststampers Forum!

And be sure to check out the In It to Win It Thread on the TCP SCS Forum as well.  Just for chatting you can win new TCP Goodies!
