Hi and Happy Friday again! If you’re looking for my Power Poppy post, just scroll down. But right now I’m back with a sweet Birthday Fairy set :). My little niece will be turning 6 shortly and she’s a pink and purple kind of girl, so I thought I’d get a head start and make a card and sweet tag for her with this new design from A Day for Daisies January Club Kit. This sweet little fairy is called Fairy Wish Bug, and she’s so cute don’t you think? Perfect for the pink and purple girly theme.
I printed two of the digi images onto XPress it Blending cardstock, just making one smaller and tag sized and one larger. After colouring I cut the larger one out and popped it up on this pretty design that’s last week’s Deconstructing Jen sketch.
I embossed the little circle behind the image with a fun swirly fairy theme and then added some pretty rhinestones and sequins to make it pretty.
The sentiment is from an old Flourishes set Inside and Out Hello. I think my little princess niece will like it.
I kept the tag really simple with some washi tap along the bottom, (in real life the colours match a little better), and some twine and similar accents to the card to tie them together.
Here’s the Copics I used.
There’s still time to play long in the “Try Something New” Challenge at A Day for Daisies and I hope you’ll join us!

ReplyDeleteOh, your little niece is going to LOVE it! So pretty! I don't remember those Flourishes sentiments, but they're fabulous. I always like to have coordinating inside/out sentiments.
ReplyDeleteVery sweet, sure she is going to love it, I was working on a card last night with pinks and purples for my niece and finally just left it cause I felt it needed more but didn't know what, I will have to go see if adding sequins would be what it needs :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful Christine! She looks just like you!
